Police are searching for a man and a woman in connection with the killing of an e-hailing driver in Pretoria West, Gauteng, on Wednesday evening .
The suspects allegedly requested a ride before attacking the driver during the trip. It is reported that the victim tried to resist but was overpowered and strangled to death.
His vehicle was also hijacked during the incident. Authorities have launched a manhunt and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
