Members of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) successfully intercepted a stolen Toyota Corolla Cross 1.8 Hybrid XS valued at R443,900 that was being smuggled from South Africa into Zimbabwe.
The vehicle had been reported stolen at Sinoville Police Station in Gauteng Province.
Acting on information received, SANDF members strategically closed off possible escape routes. They later spotted the vehicle at Sediba sa Tau and intercepted it.
The recovered vehicle was taken to the Soutpansberg Military Area, which serves as a South African Police Service (SAPS) vehicle pound.
