ATOK, GA-SELEPE – The family of Lekoadu confirmed that Myson Lekoadu, the young man who was swept away by a flooded river on Monday, 01 December 2025, has been found lifeless in Mafefe.
According to relatives, Lekoadu went missing while attempting to cross the river during heavy rains. Emergency services and community members had launched a search operation following reports of his disappearance.
The family expressed their grief at the tragic loss and asked the community to keep them in their thoughts during this difficult time.
Authorities continue to remind residents to exercise extreme caution when crossing rivers and flooded areas, especially during the rainy season.
