Limpopo Police have cracked the case regarding the fatal shooting of a 54-year-old soldier, arresting his wife, her alleged lover, and a hired hitman.
On 29 May 2025, the soldier was tragically shot and killed at Kurhula Village, Lulekani, while on his way to work.
Detectives uncovered that the deceased and his wife (41) were experiencing domestic problems. Police allege that as a result, the wife and her boyfriend (45) conspired to kill the husband and enlisted the services of a hitman (52) to execute the plan.
Arrested on Sunday, 16 November in Mandela Village, Namakgale.The wife and her boyfriend were arrested on Tuesday, 18 November in Matikoxikaya, Lulekani.
All three suspects are appearing before the Lulekani Magistrate’s Court today, Friday, 21 November, facing charges of murder.
