Tiko Axietli strongly denounces Eskom’s persistent load reduction and the closure of their offices in Tzaneen.
Tiko Axi Etleli strongly denounces Eskom’s ongoing load reduction in Tzaneen, commencing June 2024, which has had a detrimental impact on residents, students, and local businesses. This action constitutes a blatant infringement of people’s rights, and we demand its immediate cessation. It is unacceptable that Eskom’s ineptitude places an undue burden on citizens, particularly the elderly, who struggle with the new smart meters.
The recent closure of Eskom offices in Tzaneen has exacerbated the issue, leaving residents without accessible support. We call on Eskom to immediately terminate load reduction in Tzaneen and reopen offices in Tzaneen to provide support. Tiko Axietli will continue to advocate for the rights of Tzaneen residents and hold Eskom accountable for their actions.
