The much-anticipated Madeira Access Road Construction Project is progressing well. The project entails upgrading the road from gravel to a paved surface, stretching from Sekororo Hospital and linking to the internal street network across the village.
Maruleng Local Municipality Mayor, Cllr Tsheko Musolwa, says the road is a strategic development that will significantly benefit the Madeira community, especially because it provides the primary route to essential services such as the hospital.
“This project will enhance accessibility, improve road safety, and uplift the overall quality of life for our people. We are investing in roads that truly make a difference to our communities,” said Mayor Musolwa.
The Maruleng Local Municipality remains committed to delivering infrastructural projects that connect communities, stimulate local development, and ensure easy access to key services.
