Collaborative efforts between the police and security companies continue to yield positive results, this after the team arrested four suspects for theft of motor vehicle on 28 October 2025 at Katlehong.
The suspects who had reportedly stolen a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado from a car dealership in Woodmead were traced and arrested at Katlehong, where they were found busy stripping the stolen vehicle.
The team consisting of Gauteng Highway patrol, tracking team, and security companies seized the vehicle, signal jamming devices, false registration number plates, multiple tools and various cellphones for further investigations.
All four arrested suspects are expected to appear before court soon.
