On the 10th March 2022,the Conty Lebepe Foundation gave Limpopo Premier Mr Stan Mathabatha 21 days to implement the recommendations of Special Investigative Unit Report (SIU) on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE’s) or meet them in Court.
On the seventh day after receiving a letter from the ConLeF the Limpopo government has commenced with disciplinary action. The Premier got the message and he is back at his job doing what is expected of him. SIU found the explicate employee in the multimillion PPE scandal include the head of the Provincial Department of Health Dr Thokozani Mhlongo and chief financial officer Justice Mudau.
ConLeF said they will make sure that the Premier performing his duties with no stone left unturned. The Foundation will walk and work with the Premier till to an end and other related corruption issues affecting Limpopo Province.
As the province we would like to appreciate the work that the NPO is doing of ” RE BATHO KA MOKA” because if it was for them pushing the Premier the SIU recommendations wasn’t going to start.
