National Security Council will meet twice a day to deal with these violent outbreaks.
Criminals will meet the full force of law enforcement.
The president said that people have already lost their lives during the past few days – he mentioned each of their names individually.
Big economic losses because of looting and theft, public violence, burning of trucks, burning of property and blocking of roads. (The rand is also weaker against other currencies)
166 arrested in KZN
323 arrested in Gauteng
What we are witnessing now is opportunistic criminals and it has nothing to do with legal protests.
Our constitution is based on the RULE OF LAW.
The rule of law enables our society to function.
