SAPS COMMUNICATION OFFICERS REACHING OUT TO COMMUNITY

The Provincial Communication and Liaison Officer, Sergeant Monatse Mamabolo attached to Media Center accompanied by Mopani District Communication Officers Sergeant Maurice Nkwashu, Constable Patricia Shikwampana and Maake MIC Sergeant Millicent Mhlare have on Friday 09 July conducted a live radio interviews at Maruleng F.M at Ga-Sekororo in Metz.

The aim is form good partnership with community members in the fighting against crime.

The follow item were shared with the listeners

* Domestic violence(DV) and Gender Based Violence (GBV)
* The community members were warned not take the law into their hands, to avoid being the second suspects.
* The community members were advised to participate in crime fighting programs, (CPF)
* Hitchhiker contributed more crime : Robbery, Car hijacking, Rape and missing persons.
* parents are advised to take care of their children during the school holidays.
* Covid-19 regulation alert level 4 should be adhered, to safe life.
* The team shared their weekly success.

Furthermore the listeners were given an opportunity to asked questions and clarity on their day today challenges.

Lastly the Station contact numbers of Community Service Center (CSC), Station Commanders , Vispol Commanders, Branch Commanders and District Commander were distributed to the listeners.
