TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH A MOB JUSTICE INCIDENT THAT HAPPENED IN LERUPURUPUNG.

The police management applaud the cooperation between the community and the police which led to the arrest of a 50 year old suspect of a robbery with a firearm suspect in a white Hyundai i-20.

The middle aged female comainant alleges that she was Hitchhiking with a female friend from Phalaborwa to Polokwane when a 50 year old African male stopped and gave them a lift in a white Hyundai i-20 on Thursday 2021-04-15 at about 08:00 am. When they reached Tzaneen he poured petrol in one of the welll known garages and they continued with their journey.

The female victim further alleges that when they reached Sapekoe he drove into a bushy area where he pointed both the ladies with a firearm and took an undisclosed amount of cash from them and left them stranded at Sapekoe.

Later in the afternoon the ladies were helped to phone Tzaneen police station where a case of robbery with a firearm was opened and investigation ensued. Through the coordination between the police and the community the 50 year old suspect was arrested and he will appear in soon.
