SeThe search for unknown woman who was swept away while attempting to cross Mosunana River, Lorraine village Ga Sekororo Maruleng Municipality, will resume on Friday 29 January 2021.

Rescue (SAR) together with Tzaneen K9 SAR will join the community in search for missing woman who was swept away by Mosunana River early today Thursday 28 January 2021.
According to reports, the woman had attempted to cross Mosunana river in Lorraine Village Ward 12 after Heavy rainfalls.

Persistent and heavy rainfall in the province during the week led to severe flooding in the area.

At Kanana Village Ward 14 victims were rescued by Disaster Management team and community members after their home were flooded due to bad weather conditions (Heavy rainfall) and dangerous storm conditions.

Maruleng Ward 12 Councillor Tsatsi Jeffrey Morema called upon all members of the community around Bellville,Nkopetji and Loss to check their families, to report any missing person following the lady who seems to be coming from Lorraine clinic swept away by the river.
