The Tzaneen Police have produced positive and meaningful results by arresting 37 suspects.
These suspects were arrested for various offences, Ten(10) people have been arrested for assault GBH, four(4) for assault common, seven(7) for shoplifting, three(3) for rape, two(2) for murder, three(3) for MI2P, two(2) for murder, three(3) for MI2P, two(2) for attempted rape, two(for) violation of protection order, two (2) for possession of suspected stolen property, one for cimen injuria, one for intimidation, one for pointing someone as a witch, one for assault and malicious damage to property, one for fraud, one for reckless and negligent driving, assault by threat, one for theft.
These operations were conducted in various ways including raiding of illegal bussinesses including liquor outlets, tracing of wanted suspects, comprised of operational members derived from different Police Units at all levels of command being, the Crime Prevention, Crime Intelligence, Public Order Police (POP), Stock Theft, Detectives.
The Police Commissioner of the Tzaneen Police Service in Limpopo has commended the teams of members for ensuring that the area remains a safe place. The arrested suspects in all these operations have already started appearing before various magistrate courts throughout the Province.
