Up and close with the upcoming artist Queen LB in Mokgoloboto.

Queen LB real name is Lebogang “Nkopong” Thobejane she was born and raised in Ga-Nkwana in Sekhukhune. Lebo was raised by her late parents, her father was working in a furniture shop as a delivery man and her mom was a domestic worker.

Lebo started singing at a very young age 9 years even though she was shy. When asked about her role mode, she said”At that time my role model was Arthur Mafokate, I used to imitate all his song. I remember his hit track called Koti Koti”. The person who encouraged Lebo is Pastor Freeman, the owner of “Wamitwa moes”

Lebo play Afro pop, piano and wedding songs but she loves Afro pops as it heals souls. Her upcoming album is based on piano as mapiano is new dance on youngsters. “As an artist you mustn’t bore your fans, reason I produce what my fans want”said Queen LB

Lebo worked with William Maponya AKA AJ Style and Ellington Mokgotho. Her favorite dancer is Makhadzi , she said she love her flexibility when dancing.

When asked about her future plans and advise, Lebo concluded by saying “my plans to open my own studio and own company to promote local artists. I want to follow top artist like Makhadzi , King Monada and Vusi Nova. My advice to upcoming artist out there, the journey is good as long as you know where to go after recording your music. Nothing is impossible and don’t give up in your journey, meet right people you won’t have challenges”

Queen LB single will be out on the 25 September 2020.the single will include 8 tracks including manyalo, piano and Afro pop. The single will be available in stores by means of E.P
